From January 20th to 24th, 2025, our school hosted an Italian expert on debating, Rosa Carnevale, who led inspiring workshops on the art of debating.
Over four days, students from 1,2,3,4 of Secondary Education and 1st bachillerato (post compulsory education) developed key skills for public speaking and debating. We learned how to speak confidently, prepare debate motions, find strong arguments, and reason effectively. Through interactive sessions and practical exercises, we put these skills into practice.
The week ended with an exciting debate on two thought-provoking topics: “Amazon has caused more harm than good” and “This House supports students’ demonstrations for climate change.”
The experience was an incredible opportunity to build confidence, critical thinking, and teamwork—skills we’ll carry forward!
